Girls kept prisoner under appalling conditions to dig emeralds for an evil tyrant are rescued by revolutionaries disguised as soldiers. The film does not skimp on the prerequisite necessities for exploitation; rape, whippings, torture, sex (lesbian and straight), cat fights, and shower scenes all ad up to a very entertaining film that pushes the line of soft core and even jumps into hard-core for a few moments. Starring Anthony Steffen, Ajita Wilson, Christina Lai, Stelio Candelli, Franco Daddi, Maristella Greco. Shot by Edward G. Muller (Edoardo Mulargia) at the same time as his other WIP/jungle film Escape From Hell, with much of the same cast. Footage from both films was used in the 1985 film Savage Island.
ILLUSION is a film about people, their wishes, fears, hopes and longings. A glance behind the facade of daily routine. A visually stunning cycle between reality and illusion, a carousel of emotions with thrilling twists. Eight people that cannot be more different meet in a BAR. For one night they escape their everyday life which is paralyzed of rituals and find themselves in a journey to their world of thoughts, their quintessential lust. Oppressed wishes, sexual fantasies and fears come to the surface and forgotten experiences are revealed. The evening takes its course.
